I do the same and order over the phone. Most of the time I get it in one or two days. I have not been in a Agco dealership in more than two years. The closest one is 140 miles away. But the one I order from is 350 miles away. They always seem to have the parts at the best price.

I would like to put in a good word for lang Diesel in Colby, Kansas. They're 80 miles from me, but they have a good parts inventory, decent prices for an Agco dealer, and they to whatever they can to get you going again.

Congratulations Illinois Gleaner! You certainly hit on a sensitive subject. lets hope those highly paid exec's at Agco read the posts and take serious note of all comments and the implications arising from those comments.

Gleaner dealer in our area is 65 Mi. away. They seem to carry a reasonable amount of stock and have been in the business forever, lots of knowledge and helpful, if you get the right partsman (usually the owner). Prices on parts really HIGH. I actually hate going there!!

Central Illinois dealers I recommend. Don Morr Equipment in laPlace, Il does an excellent job. Allan Morr, president, can tell you quickly if he has your needed parts. If he doesn't have it in stock, he will do an internet seek of surrounding dealers to locate it on their inventory or place a rush order which in most cases give next day delivery to your farm. Pricing is higher, but service is second to none! Barker Implement located in Middlesworth, Il also does an excellent job. Kinney Barker, owner, or Andy at the parts counter will get you what you need. They don't always stock everything, but you can rest assure that when they do an order for you it will arrive and be correct. Pricing is less on their parts, but you may wait 2-5 days for order.

Have two real good dealers within two hours driving time, they are only as good as AGCO will allow though. went in after a roller chain_gear coupler for my corn head two weeks ago and they told me it was discontinued, in my owners manual it showed every variation of corn head having one, why discontinue this partIJ I can't afford new machinery but I usually can afford new parts for old stuff. I was lucky enough to be able to put a pair of bigger gears and a double 60 roller chain coupler in place of the AGCO part, it is heavier now anyway. I guess I should feel fortunate that they still carry the parts they do.

I farm near louisville. I knew you were over around Willow Hill. T-Town seems to have most of what we need. Occasionally we go to Albion. We finished harvest about 10 days ago.
