Massey Harris 92, 16ft head, no cab, but I had Variable speed, My Friend in the field next to me thought that was great. Not many kids, that I've met, my age have ever driven a machine with out a cab. I am 25 and started driving when I was 10.
Well I'm 28....spent lots of time riding with my father in a gleaner l2.....then he traded for a 7720....so that was my first combine for dad...and grandpa's combine was a 715 international...ya know the one with the wrench 3 feet long to reverse the feeder house. In my first year I knew that wrench well.
Hell KCC........When you first mentioned the "BIG WRENCH" to reverse the cylinder I thought you were talking about Dad's 750 Massey!! G0d am I ever glad they designed genuine reverser's. Deerebines
Well at least I "feel" older than you. I first ran a 77 model 6600 spike tooth combine. I can remember falling asleep in my daddys lap at night in that machine. He always let me put the unload auger in gear. Boy I thought I was hot stuff.
