Just because a combine is rated a class 8 means nothing. I,ve seen class 6 combines run round and round with class 8's. An 8010 has no more capacity than a 9760. Maybe less. I,ve never seen more than 3500 bushel per hour put thru an 8010 at 24% corn.

If memmory serves right he had all of the biggest combines from the big three and was happiest with the 8010

Cry me a river... you want to know why Deere is doing nothing to improve its combine line. Thr reason is simple they know that all you loyal Deere owners will buy what ever crap they put out. Why was it that the rotary concept was a bad idea until Deere came up with a rotary combine. Deere knows its combine owners will buy a hopped 9500 and pay way to much money for it to try and impress people who know what a good combine is.

I remember reading his comments on the red page last year about all that was going wrong with that combine. If that is what happy is, I don't think I want to see what he's like when he's upset.

Yea, I believe that you have seen class 6 keep up with class 8 round for round. But your story tends to mislead the reader. The class 8 had a 12 row head and the class 6 had an 8 row.

Did you ever consider why many Deere owners are, in fact, so loyal to DeereIJ
