A few years ago when the Deere Rotories first came out we went to look at a used 72 on a Deere dealers lot, Their comment on the 72's was that they can sure thrash some grain, thaey had been out on demo against 2 72's for three days in a few different crops and never passed the 72 once. My neigbor traded a 62 on a 9760 sts and says the sts is bigger but not by much, and that it probably wouldn't pass our 72 unless in canola. That being said the deere seems to get the job done and has many loyal customers so they cant be making a poor machine or quite a few of those customers would change colors, dealer service can only go so far if the machines dont do the job. Just my opinion anyway.

Sorry if I was unclear i ment the rotor was diff being its rotor is kind of like a cylinder located a little higher and beig across the combine instead of lenght wise. Cant forget the Acc. Rolls in the N7!!

these loyal costomers have been brainwashed by green voodoo. there are so many in my area that just blindly by deere and curse anything else tractors and combines. i'm not saying that deere is bad i hava about every color on my place and there are advantages and disadvantages to all of them i would get a 9750 if i wanted a $200,000 marshmallow roast though. just kidding have they got the fire problems fixed on them yet or do they still have trouble with them burningIJ
