We use this often. We add it to our "rubs". It is very different than regular paprika. Paprika to me has no flavor, it's a garnishment. Smoked paprika has a great smokey flavor.

This is interesting. So people are breeding cows to produce smaller cows? Would these cows then be what the average farmer (not cattle farmer) want just to produce milk for their family? Are these smaller cows also butchered for their meat? Does it taste different?

We rented a stump grinder last year and it was a big pain. I would try an excavator for sure. You should be able to dig any stump out with that.

I've never seen a butcher in my area that sells grass fed beef. I've never really looked into it though. Our butcher is about 80 years old. He is the best in town.

I'm pretty sure we are going to go with block. The pole barn looked cheaper and easier to put up. The block garage looks more steady and I think it would last longer. Thanks for the advice.

We have decided to let them come. My wife and kids are excited! I checked our insurance and it's good to go. I did request that they bring enough chaperones so that kids don't wander off.

I would stick to the bean and burger chili. I know a lot of people that don't like chicken chili. You would hate for one or more of the judges to not like chicken chili.

Great idea! We do both as well (for our family garden). My wife likes to start seeds in egg cartons. We have had great luck with this. Let us know how they do!
